Cornish Coastal Path, Lizard Peninsular
The southernmost part of England, the Lizard Peninsula is home to dramatic coastlines, quaint fishing villages and serene views of the rolling hills. It also makes up a small part of the UK’s longest trail: the Southwest Coast Path. The path winds in and out of the many hidden coves with each corner bringing a fresh or surprising view.
In the summer months, Cornwall tends to get rammed with ‘emmetts’ so it’s best to explore before or after these busy periods, I find mid-late September to be a great time.
